ASUS Announces ExpertCenter PN42 Mini PC

ASUS Has announced their new ExpertCenter PN42 Mini PC designed as a small low noise system for small or medium-sized businesses.

The ExpertCenter PN42 from ASUS is a Mini PC that utilises a fanless design which reduces noise and dust build-up within the chassis making it ideal for office environments. The PC is powered by an Intel N100 or N200 processor which features Intel UHD graphics fully capable of powering up to three displays. The unit itself features an eco-friendly toolless design which makes upgrading the internal M.2 storage a breeze.

Ports And Expansion

Despite its small size, the PN42 features plenty of ports including Displayport, HDMI and a configurable port for either another DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA, COM or USB Type-C. The unit features plenty of USB with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 on the front, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and three USB 2.0 on the rear. Connecting to a network provides a variety of options as the device features two RJ45 2.5Gb LAN ports as well as WiFi 6 connectivity. An audio and mic jack are featured on the front of the unit which features two-way AI noise cancellation that is fully supported by many popular communication platforms. The front of the unit features an infrared receiver as well as the LED power button which can indicate when there is an issue with the computer.
