ASUS Announces ROG Strix XG32VQ and XG35VQ Monitors

ASUS is announcing two new large gaming monitors for their ROG Strix line with FreeSync support. The first is the ASUS ROG XG32VQ, a 32-inch QHD display with a super-fast 144Hz refresh rate. It also has impressive color range with 125% sRGB color gamut. The second one is slightly larger, but a lot longer since it is a 32-inch UWQHD display. This is the ROG Strix XG35VQ with a 100Hz refresh rate and has extreme low motion blur.

ASUS ROG Strix XG32VQ and XG35VQ Features

Both the ROG Strix XG32VQ and XG35VQ have an 1800R curvature, which ensures every point on the display is equidistant to the eyes. The result is better immersion and less distortion as well as color shifting. The ROG Strix XG35VQ is ultra-wide QHD, which means it has a 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3440 x 1440. Not quite “true” 4K UHD, but it has plenty of pixels in comparison to 1920 x 1080 displays. Even the XG32VQ boasts 2560 x 1440 resolution, although having a more standard 16:9 aspect ratio. This QHD display is actually the sweet spot right now for most gamers, who do not have the budget to go dual-SLI just to drive 4K UHD ultra settings.

The ROG Strix XG32VQ and XG35VQ feature ASUS-exclusive gaming related features made with input from professional gamers. The GamePlus hotkey for example provides instant access to different crosshair options. It also has an onscreen timer, a frames-per-second counter, and a display alignment feature. The GameVisual feature provides up to seven preset display modes to optimize visuals for different types of games. Plus many more.

Pricing and Availability

Both monitors will be available from mid-end of December. The XG32VQ has an SRP £549.99 inc VAT. Meanwhile, the XG35VQ costs £799.99 inc VAT.
