Asus announces three new all-in-one desktops in their ET series

All-in-one PCs start to be more and more popular, but how can you blame them? They take less space, they’re easy to use and great tools, and they feature the latest technology you’d find on high end desktops. One of the latest addition to the wide array of AIO solutions come from Asus, with three new products in their ET series: the 21.5” ET2210, the 23.6” ET2410 and the 27” ET2700.

All three are 1080p LED-backlit touch panels, with the largest ones featuring the multi-touch technology, they become an incredibly useful tool whether for work or for fun, with the specially designed Asus Cinema software, it becomes more comfortable to work with the screen although the keyboard/mouse combination can be used as well, all to fit the user’s preferences.

Powered by Intel’s second generation Core i processors, as well as 8GB of DDR3 memory, the USB 3.0 connectivity is insluded with two ports as well as three 2.0 along them. Also equipped with a 3-in-1 card reader, eSATA port and 802.11n wireless, the transfer of data as well as internet access shouldn’t be much of a problem.

Notice that it looks a lot more like a monitor than most AIO solutions we see today? Well there’s a reason for that, as this also doubles as a monitor through an HDMI port. The audio has been worked on as well, thanks to audio experts, the SonicMaster technology reproduces the sound to an incredible level of perfection, for enjoyable audio quality which is further enhanced with the DTS Surround Sensation UltraPC.

The VESA mounts allow for the convenience of placing it on a wall, and it’s slim profile of only 2.36” shouldn’t ruin the view. With storage capability of up to 1TB as well as an optical Blu-ray combo drive, this can easily be used as a mediacenter as well as any other applications you’ll find for it.

“The new ASUS All-in-One PC series is the perfect technology tool to meet this increased market demand. ASUS continues to be an innovation leader with the release of these all-new AIOs, which offer premium features, stylish design, immersive multi-touch technology, and affordability in an energy efficient platform,” said Margaret Chen, President of Open Platform Business (OPBG) Group for ASUS Computer International.

The Asus 23.6″ ET2410 is now available for a retail price starting at $899 which will most probably rise depending on the choice of components. The 21.5″ ET2210 on the other hand will be available in October while the 27″ ET2700 will be in November.
