The new 34-inch 3440 x 1440 resolution ultra-wide Designo Curve MX34VQ monitor from ASUS is designed for user who wish to declutter their desktop space. Integrating a Qi wireless charger as well as premium Harman Kardon speakers into its frame, the Designo Curve MX34VQ frees up the real estate in front of the user.
The 5W/1A Qi charging pad is placed right on the rounded base at the center front of the monitor so it is not bulky or in the way of the actual display, adding on to its efficient design. The integrated speakers are 8W stereos, which may not be studio grade but it is nonetheless above and beyond most desktop speakers. Similar to ASUS’ notebooks utilizing ASUS SonicMaster technology, the Harman Kardon stereo speakers built in are able to do more despite their size through optimized sound hardware and precision-tuned software. Users can select various modes including music, movie, gaming or custom, depending on the audio experience needed.
Curved displays provide the advantage of immersive visuals and with the Designo Curve MX34VQ’s 1800R curvature, there is 178 degree wide-viewing across its horizontal and vertical planes. ASUS also provides Eye-care technology using exclusive ultra-low blue light protection with four filter settings. ASUS also integrates flicker-free technology to further reduce eye strains.
It will be available in the UK on March 20th, retailing for £749.99. For more information, visit: https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Monitors/MX34VQ/
