ASUS GTX 1080 Ti Pictured!

The NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti has already landed here at eTeknix HQ and what an absolute beast it is! You can check out our review here. Of course, we did notice the card had more potential for higher performance, and the prospect of overclocked 3rd party cards with a much more powerful cooler are just the ticket to get this card up to full speed.

It now looks like ASUS may be one of the first to get their high-end cards to market, as Cowcotland have just posted pictures of the new card in all its glory.

As you can see, the card is pretty huge, measuring in at  398x134x52.5mm and features three large fans that cool the entire PCB over a large heat sink. The cooling is also supported by a large backplate, which will also bring the benefit of increased durability. There are two additional PWM fan headers for system fans too, which can be used to control external fan RPM based on GPU temperature, something could that help bring even better cooling performance for the card when it needs it most, and it is a feature we’re eager to test out in the coming weeks.

Th card features dual 8-pin connectors, using a 10+2 phase design, suggesting it’s got a decent overclock or at least the potential to reach one.

No word on pricing or the exact release date yet, but expect it to be very soon!
