ASUS Launches ROG “Your Winning Formula” Giveaway

A Unique Giveaway for Hardcore ASUS ROG Fans

ASUS is currently running a giveaway for hardcore fans of the Republic of Gamers line. The best part is that it is actually two giveaways in one. One is for those who already own a Maximus Formula motherboard, and one is for those dreaming of owning a Maximus Formula motherboard.

The first ROG Maximus Formula motherboard launched in 2008. So this giveaway is essentially a celebration of its 10th anniversary. It has evolved in design significantly since then until the latest ROG Maximus X Formula, featuring the pinnacle of ROG Formula design so far.

How Can I Join?

If you have any ASUS ROG Formula motherboard from the 10 generations that have come out then you qualify for the first giveaway.

  1. Simply write your name and the Formula motherboard’s generation on a sticky note and put it on the motherboard or the build containing the board.
  2. The sticky note is necessary as proof that you do have the board on hand, which is why the next step is to take a photo. Make sure to have the board or build in frame with the note visible.
  3. The third step is to post the image (or even video) on social media using the #ROGWinningFormula hashtag.
  4. Submit the entry on the ROG Winning Formula Gleam Widget at the bottom of this page (link).

If you don’t have an ASUS ROG Formula motherboard, don’t worry as you can still enter. Just follow the steps below:

  1. Pen a wish list, draw your fantasy rig or create an animation or photo montage with Maximus X Formula. The choice is yours. Be sure to include your dream ASUS graphics card, CPU, memory, and CPU cooler, and with as much detail as possible.
  2. Post your creation on social media, using the hashtag #ROGWinningFormula, and submit your entry via the Gleam widget.

It is that simple. You can rack up as many points as you can to increase your chance of winning. Plus, this giveaway is open WORLDWIDE. Winners will be chosen with 30% via fan votes and 70% via weighted ROG votes. So users have to campaign if they want to win.

The promotion giveaway commences on Feb, 6th, TPE 5 PM and terminates on Mar 5th, TPE 5PM.

What Prizes Can I Win?

Here is the best part since you can win some lovely hardware. Obviously, ASUS is giving away better hardware for ROG Formula owners. However, those who don’t own one will still qualify for the Winner’s Prize pack consisting of a ROG Maximus X Formula motherboard, a ROG Addressable LED strip and a ROG pouch. There are three of these to win.

Those who own a Maximus Formula motherboard get the chance to win an ROG Strix GeForce video card kit instead to go along with their motherboard. The first place winner gets a ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Advanced with a ROG Aura Terminal and a ROG pouch. The second place winner gets a ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070 Ti with a ROG Aura Terminal and a ROG pouch. The third place gets a ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070 with a ROG Addressable LED strip and a ROG pouch.
