Like the box and board, strip the branding and its an ROG BIOS alright and that means tons of flexibility and options to play with. Whilst the BIOS is mostly the same throughout, which by no part is a bad thing, there are a few new extras to be found which work specifically with the Z77 chipset and the 3rd generation Intel processors.

As I’m sure many ROG users will agree, Asus have got their BIOS nailed on the head and whilst everything is mainly the same, this is a good thing. Why change something if it works perfectly fine? Further more, we have found this to be one of the best BIOS going for overclocking and in a couple of pages we will see if this can take our i7-2700k to a new personal best.
