Asus’ new IPS monitor detailed

While at Las Vegas, Asus got a chance to present its new upcoming monitor designed for professional artists and photographers, a 27″ model branded VA278Q.
The VA278Q is equipped with LED backlight, an IPS panel as well as a native resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The stand also enables it to tilt, pivot, swivel, and adjust its height while providing a 178/178 degree viewing angles.
This widescreen also features a Smart Contrast Ratio of 80,000,000: 1 and the Splendid Video Intelligence Technology which provides six pre-set modes (Theatre, Scenery, Gaming, Night View, sRGB, and Standard) that will optimize colours and image fidelity for the on screen content.
Display output included are DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.
Availability hasn’t been given, same goes for the price.
