Power Consumption and Temperatures

Power Consumption

Ouch, best turn a few light bulbs out to balance out this one, as the X299 Deluxe is pretty hungry for power. Of course, at stock it’s still running a 10-core extreme CPU and the AORUS motherboard was even more hungry for power. However, once overclocked it’s the ASUS board that gobbles up the most power. That bein gsaid, X299 isn’t a platform for those looking to go gree, it’s about heavy dutty computing and the Prime Deluxe certainly delivers that.
