ASUS Pugio Ambidextrous RGB LED Mouse Now Available
Ron Perillo / 7 years ago
ASUS had the Pugio mouse on display at Computex 2017 but it is finally out in public. It features Republic of Gamers styling and features, namely proven components and RGB LED customizability. Since the Pugio is under the ASUS RoG premium product banner, it comes at a premium price as well.
ASUS Pugio Features
Like any self-respecting competitive mouse, the ASUS Pugio utilizes a 7,200 DPI optical sensor. This is rated with 150 IPS tracking speed, and 30g acceleration. Its ambidextrous design makes it ideal for both left and right handed gamers. This flexibility also extends towards the Pugio’s customizability inside and out.
It comes with Omron switches by default but users can switch out with compatible models just via the push-fit socket. This allows users to customize whatever feels right for them without having to breakout the soldering iron. Aside from switch options, the ASUS Pugio comes with configurable side buttons.
In terms of color, the RGB LED lighting options available include: static, breathing, color cycle, wave, comet or reactive. This can also be set to synchronize with other ASUS Aura Sync compatible products such as the ROG Claymore keyboard via the ROG Armoury software.
Pricing and Availability
The Pugio ambidextrous RGB LED gaming mouse is available now worldwide for $90 USD.
