ASUS Radeon RX 6700 XT TUF Gaming/DUAL GPU Images Leak

With the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT confirmed for launch on March 3rd (with a release date reportedly set for March 18th), it’s pretty much a no-brainer that AIB partners will already have their custom designs prepped for their own respective launches. It seems, however, that in terms of leaks, ASUS is (at least to my knowledge) the first company to escape online as following a report via Videocardz images of both their 6700 XT TUF Gaming and DUAL graphics cards have appeared!

ASUS Radeon RX 6700 XT TUF Gaming

The TUF Gaming model will likely represent the more ‘higher-tier version of the two revealed here with it featuring a triple-fan design and reportedly a higher clock speed. We should note, though that neither graphics card currently has any confirmed (or rumoured) specifications at the time of writing.

Overall though, in terms of aesthetics, it does appear that this 6700 XT model will be pretty much identical to the current 6800 XT from ASUS.

ASUS Radeon RX 6700 XT DUAL

As the name might have suggested, the DUAL is a twin-fan design. It is expected to essentially represent ASUS’ own ‘reference’ 5700 XT with the clock speeds likely to be identical or only slightly higher than those provided by AMD’s own models.

Aesthetically, however, this does appear to represent something new. If I’m being honest, between the two, I think I prefer the sleekness of the DUAL compared to the fairly generic-looking TUF Gaming.

When Will They Be Released?

When these custom-designs hit retail shelves, is still entirely in the hands of AMD. We should note that it isn’t entirely uncommon for reference models to be given a couple of weeks of exclusivity. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t (like AMD’s own models) something around the 18th of March. Given that reports already suggest that 6700 XT stock (as a whole) might be pretty crap (again), this might yet turn out to be yet another GPU we want but can’t get!

What do you think? Which of the two designs do you prefer? – Let us know in the comments!
