ASUS Has today revealed a collaboration with the 90s anime series Evangelion allowing PC builders to create their own system inspired by the EVA-02 and Asuka from the series with a custom motherboard, graphics card, graphics card holder, chassis, AIO, keyboard and mouse all in EVA-02 Red. The new collection is the perfect choice for those who love Evangelion and PC gaming to truly have a unique piece of equipment to show off that love.
(PR) This special version of the feature-packed ROG Maximus Z790 Hero arrives with EVA-02’s signature red and orange theme, with traces of green. The backplate design comes with EVA-02 Beast Mode and Evangelion patterns, supporting this motherboard’s immense power and control, as it takes 13th Gen Intel Core processors and DDR5 memory kit to the next level. And an A.T. Field design around the CPU socket and Polymo lighting on the I/O cover switches between Asuka and regular EVA-02 as another artistic flourish.
The EVA Editions of the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 come equipped with a myriad of performance-enhancing ASUS features, such as Axial-tech fans with reverse rotation and 0 dB technology, an exclusive vapor chamber design, top-shelf power delivery and a sleek metal exoskeleton for maximized rigidity. The expertly engineered fan shroud and right-hand side of the card now sport an EVA-02 color theme, and Asuka art takes over the backplate.
The ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB EVA-02 Edition embodies the Evangelion spirit and is adorned by Asuka-inspired artwork around its aluminium bezel. In addition to monitoring system vital signs to keep a rig stable in the heat of battle, the Ryujin’s expansive 3.5-inch LED screen can display a collection of Asuka and EVA-02-themed animations. Meanwhile, three special 120 mm fans featuring customizable ARGB snap together with an advanced magnetic connector that transmits control signals and power at the same time, to make sure that a user’s Evangelion always has ample cooling to face the next opponent.
The ROG Hyperion EVA-02 Edition is a premium gaming chassis that offers an EVA-02-themed lighting panel that displays the Evangelion spirit to anyone who gazes within. This panel can also be displayed on the outside if builders want to make room in that spot for fans or SSDs. Interior and exterior details have been fashioned to match the aesthetics of the EVA-02 and house the other ROG x Evangelion components, making it the foundation of the collaboration.
The ROG Herculx EVA-02 Edition is wrapped with a variety of ROG and Evangelion-themed graphics while it bears the burden of keeping a graphics card level. Its stand is styled like the EVA-02’s Progressive Knife to communicate strength and adaptability. And like all ROG Herculx holders, users do not need any tools to install this device: simply lift the extending platform and use the adjustable wheel to fine-tune height. The platform can also release smoothly at the touch of a button for easy removal when upgrading hardware.
The ROG Strix Scope RX EVA-02 Edition proudly wraps an EVA-inspired red-and-orange aluminium case around a full complement of ROG RX optical mechanical switches. This formidable combo consistently provides wobble-free keystrokes and a near-zero debounce delay, plus IP57 water resistance and dust resistance for reliable deployment throughout prolonged campaigns. For gamers who enjoy swapping keycaps, ROG is also releasing an EVA-02-themed keycap set, so users can mix and match on their RX keyboards.
The ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint also enters the fray with precision and accuracy up to 36,000 dpi and its own EVA-02 Edition design and color scheme. An ergonomic design helps minimize hand fatigue even after hours of use, and there is extended battery life so that users can dive into games full of confidence with the Evangelion as their sidearm. ROG is also launching a stylish and firm mouse grip tape for ROG Gladius and Harpe Ace mice with Evangelion-themed graphics and Asuka’s figures for gamers to express their allegiance and achieve full synchronization.
