With the launch of the RTX 4060 comes the entries from various AIB partners bringing in their take on the newest graphics card from NVIDIA. ASUS is one of those who is proud to announce its new overkill Strix and normal Dual series of RTX 4060 graphics cards delivering great 1080p performance with Ray-Tracing and DLSS 3 technologies.
The ROG Strix is ASUS’s flagship offering for the 4060 and for a 115W card is entirely overkill. This card continues the same Strix colourful design and continues to feature a 3.1 slot design that measures 311.4mm long. I’m just gonna say it, this is stupid. People who buy these lower-end cards buy them because they’re on a budget or they want something small and low-power, which this is not. Just release the dual and call it a day no need to peacock it. In terms of specs, this card features three 11-blade Axial-tech fans with a passthrough backplate and features an overclock of 2700MHz. The STRIX also comes with premium features including dual-bios which won’t void your warranty, FanConnect II headers, ARGB tail lights and a generally high quality build.
Next up in the realm of reasonably sized coolers, is the Dual in both a white and black design. The black design looks ok but the white looks quite bad with the dark strip at the top. The cards use two 11-blade Axial-tech fans and measure 227mm long and have a dual-BIOS switch. These reasonably sized cards are ideal for smaller systems and come with the same high-quality construction as the Strix ensuring long lasting performance.
