ASUS Reveals ROG Matrix RTX 4090 With AIO Liquid Cooler.

ASUS has revealed its new ROG Matrix RTX 4090 Liquid Cooled card, the first Matrix card since the RTX 2080 Ti.

ASUS ROG Matrix 4090

The ROG Matrix RTX 4090 is an AIO liquid-cooled card which boasts the fastest boost clocks of any RTX 4090 on the market. This card features a fully custom-engineered cold plate which captures heat not only from the GPU die but also from the VRMs and memory chips. The high-powered cooling system provides lots of headroom for the card to push its clocks even higher and for longer, plus it features only the best binned dies for this card. Furthermore, this card harnesses the power of liquid metal providing an even more potent cooling system.

Custom 360mm Radiator

To complete the cooling system for this card is the custom extra thick 360mm radiator equipped with a trio of ROG MF-12S ARGB fans. The MF-12S fans are daisy-chainable and snap together with a magnetic connector to transmit control signals and power making for easy installation with fewer cables. The fans feature a high static pressure and airflow management to keep the card operating at 60°C at 450W with a less than 1000RPM speed.

Bold and Striking Design

The design of this card resembles that of a display case with a hollow chamber surrounded by a larger aluminium body protecting the cold plate and PCB. This card is also ASUS’ first use of indirect Aura Lighting inside the hollow case plus it features Bold ROG branding on the frame with lightbars on the inside and outside. This design is very cool looking however it looks rather thick for an AIO but then again this is a premium product and those that would buy it don’t really care.

Availability

This card will be available as a limited edition item from Q3 2023 and is expected to be priced around $2000. For more information on how and where to get your hands on one of these amazing, chart-topping works of art, please contact your local ASUS representative.
