ASUS Reveals Vivobook 13 Slate OLED

ASUS Has announced a new generation of its detachable Vivobook 13 Slate series. The Vivobook Slate 13 (T3304) is a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet combo allowing for the keyboard to be detached for a versatile and portable design. The Vivobook 13 is a Brilliant all-rounder coming in at 800g, it has great portability, with its OLED touchscreen display and Dolby Atmos Quad speakers making it great for work and entertainment.

The OLED Display

The 13.3 Inch OLED 1080p touchscreen display provides a brilliant viewing experience, capable of displaying 1.07 Billion colours which are Pantone Validated with a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3Color Gamut for accurate and vivid colours. With this, the display is also HDR True Black 500 certified bringing deep blacks and brilliant highlights to the display with a 550 Nits peak brightness. ASUS has also taken extra care to protect your eyes, with naturally lower blue light levels that are 70% lower than the average LCD display.

Detachable Keyboard and Pen

The Vivobook is designed to be both a laptop and a tablet so features a magnetically attached keyboard. This keyboard is full-sized with dished capped keys spaced 19.05mm apart and a 1.4mm key travel distance. Alongside the keyboard is a “mega-sized” touchpad engineered for maximum responsiveness and accuracy as well as being coated for a silky smooth feel. Included to compliment the tablet part of this laptop is the high-precision ASUS Pen 2.0, containing a 4096-level pressure sensitivity, a 266Hz sampling rate as well as 4 interchangeable pen tips to mimic the feel of 2H, H, HB and B pencils. The pen is chargeable via a USB-C charger and paired with Bluetooth.

The Specs

The Vivobook 13 features Windows 11 and is powered by either an Intel Core i3-N300 8 core Processor capable of boosting to 3.8GHz or on the cheaper models an Intel Pentium N200 4 Core Processor capable of boosting to 3.7GHz. RAM options include either 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR5 and storage options of up to a 512GB PCIe Gen 3 SSD. The Included 50Wh battery, estimated to bring over 10 hours of battery life, comes with a 65W USB C power adapter. For I/O the Vivobook comes with 2 USB 3.2 Type C with display and power delivery support, 1 3.5mm audio combo jack and 1 MicroSD card reader.
