Straight away we see this board deliver some killer results, and it’s only a tiny bit behind that of the flagship MSI X370 XPOWER, so a good result already. Of course, the scores look crazy high compared to Intel board, but keep in mind we’re using an 8-core Ryzen 7 1800X.

Again, very similar results, just a tiny bit behind the MSI board.

I’m starting to see a pattern here, with the board delivering spectacular results, but again, MSI holds the crown.

Now we’re talking, ASUS take the lead over MSI, if only by 0.055 seconds.

SiSoft Sandra

Again, delivering the kind of high-end performance we were expecting.

Dhrystone scores for MSI and ASUS are identical here; I’ll take that as a good sign.

3DMark

3DMark and Ryzen just don’t seem to jam well, but the two X370 boards are about on par with each other again.

While overclocking, the Hero pulls quite a bit ahead of the MSI board.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 

Another strong result from both X370 boards here.

Well, that’s quite a leap, the ASUS board smashes ahead in this test. I may have to retest the MSI board as I suspect this gain is from a newer BIOS and possibly a game update, but that doesn’t diminish the score for ASUS one bit.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Still a great score here, but the ASUS board certainly fell behind the competition by a few frames.

A good result here, but it’s the MSI board that takes the lead.
