The fan actually didn’t spin at 20% load, the PSU seems to have some always-on passive mode that I wasn’t expecting. However, once it did get to temperature at 40% the fan started at 600 RPM, moving to 800 RPM at 60% load and leveling off at 1000 RPM at maximum loads. Overall though, the fan seems surprisingly quiet and quick to react when it’s needed.
