Who’s it For?
Given that it’s part of the ROG product range, it is no surprise that this router is tuned for high-end gaming performance. What I really like is that it has dual 2.5G ports, so you can hook up two gaming PCs for ultra-fast and low-latency LAN gameplay, and dual online gameplay too. The addition of WAN aggregation, VPN Fusion, Triple-Level Game Acceleration, free network security and AiMesh support make it extremely versatile for daily networking needs too, it’s not just for gamers.
While many consumers won’t care for Link Aggregation, QSOS, and a VPN port, they’re certainly going to attract the network enthusiasts among you. It really sets this router on another level from just your “typical” high-end gaming routers. For me personally, I think this would be a great router to hook up my NAS devices and operate a more complex Plex server and shares.
