Synthetic Benchmarks
3DMark Firestrike
The GL503 is no slouch when it comes to 3DMark, setting a score of 8843. Not our fastest time ever, but it’s about where it should be given the specifications.
Unigine Superposition 1080p Extreme
Unigine performed a bit better though, hitting a very respectable 2068 in the 1080p Extreme benchmark.
PCMark 10
Unsurprisingly, the GL503V scored almost exactly what I expected it would, given its use of the i5-7300HQ processor. When it comes to day-to-day work and multi-tasking, it’s more than powerful enough to get the job done.
WPrime 32M and 1024M
The same is true for the WPrime score, hitting 439.01 seconds, which seems quite slow, but keep in mind the other laptops are using the i7, or are desktop CPUs.
Cinebench R15
This is a very demanding benchmark for any system, but the 503V still put up a fight. It’s not a rendering laptop, but we already knew this and those who plan on doing such things will no doubt want a Ryzen or i7 equipped unit.
