Equipped with an i5 and GTX 1060, the Hero is pretty decent in terms of specifications. However, it’s got some hefty competition on our charts as we’ve tested a lot of i7 CPU and higher spec GPU combinations recently. Please consider the score achieved, not where the system place in relation to other systems, at least to a certain degree.
In Deus Ex, it scored a respectable 84.6 FPS, with a minimum of 52.4 FPS, which is a good score for any system. However, it performed even better in Rise of the Tomb Raider, where it broke the 100 FPS mark, albeit by a tiny margin. Overall, two great scores for our DX12 performance testing.
The good scores continued to roll in with Ghost Recon too, hitting just over 65 FPS, and a very strong 78 FPS in Far Cry Primal. Regardless of what we threw at it, silky smooth gameplay was no issue for the Hero.
