Power and Thermal Performance
The Core-i9 is an absolute pig when it comes to power, so it’s no surprise that these boards use quite a bit of power too. However, it’s not too drastic at stock clocks.
Once overclocked, the board does use a little less power than the Gaming 9, which is nice. However, with the i9 installed, it’s always going to be pretty thirsty.
