We’re here at Insomnia 61 gaming festival at the NEC in Birmingham. check out the ASUS booth. On display, they have many new bits of hardware that are either on the market now or coming to market very soon. Some of this hardware we did see earlier this year at Computex 2017, however, it’s the first time it has been showcased here in the UK.
First up, the ASUS RoG Rapture GT-AC5300 Wireless Gaming router. This high end router is crammed full of features that are sure to excite anyone who takes their online gaming seriously. It’s based on some of their existing hardware, but the design and the firmware are specifically designed to deal with demanding workloads while gaming online.
They’re new all in one pulls no punches, sporting an i7-7700K and dual GTX 1070 graphics cards in SLI.
This monitor is stunning, featuring a 1800R curved 27-inch panel. Of course, that’s not all, as it sports an ultra-fast 144Hz refresh rate for silky smooth gaming. It’s only a 1080p display. However, with all those features, plus G-Sync, Extreme Low Motion Blur, Aura RGB, and that stylish stand, we think it’ll be a big hit for ASUS.
Their new headsets impressed too, featuring 7.1 surround sound. There’s also support for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Mobile. Each headset features powerful 50mm drivers, hybrid ear cushions, and a high-performance microphone. We’ll have these in for review very soon, so stay tuned for more.
