While ASUS is currently running an Assassin’s Creed Origins promotion, offering the game for free with RoG products. They are also releasing a limited edition Assassin’s Creed Origins themed custom GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card.
It uses an ASUS ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti graphics card as a base model. However, the shroud color, backplate and fan hub are custom to match an Egyptian motif. The shroud has an old rusted color, simulating weathered granite and the center of the hubs have Assassin’s Creed symbols printed on them. Moreover, the backplate is fully covered with heiroglyphs.
There will only be 500 of these limited edition models available worldwide. Each card also comes with an Assassins’s Creed Origins Uplay Key.
Aside from the custom Assassin’s Creed additions, the custom ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti is Aura Sync compatible, having LEDs on the shroud and on the ASUS logo at the back. These can synchronize with other Aura Sync compatible products and set to follow several behavioural presets. This includes static, breathing, strobing, color cycle, GPU temperature and music reactive.
The triple fans use a patented Wing-blade design delivering 105% greater air pressure than previous designs. These also have IP5X certification, so they are dust resistant and are longer lasting than other fans. As for the heatsink underneath, it is 2.5-slot wide so it provides greater surface area for heat to dissipate in. This means the fans also can operate at lower speeds to keep the temperatures lower than other heatsink designs.
The default clock speed is running at 1569MHz base with a boost of 1683MHz. However, there is also an OC mode with a 1594MHz base and a 1708MHz boost. The rear IO has a dual-link DVI-D connector, two full-size DisplayPort connectors and two HDMI 2.0 ports.
