Rise of the Tomb Raider

Despite having to contend with Rise of the Tomb Raider’s stunning visual fidelity, the graphics card managed to uphold a smooth frame-rate. However, it’s not able to outclass another custom GTX 1070 model.

Increasing the resolution to 2560×1440 drops the minimum frame-rate below 60 and it’s interesting to see both GTX 1070s perform worse than the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 980Ti.

During 4K testing, the GPU almost beat its closest rival and offered a relatively stable frame-rate. Of course, lower settings are required to enjoy a smooth experience.
