ASUS STRIX GAMING GTX 1070 OC Graphics Card Review

Ashes of the Singularity

The graphics card has enough horsepower to maintain a solid frame-rate while running Ashes of the Singularity on the Crazy preset. Even though it’s behind the Fury X, Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 980Ti and Palit GameRock Premium GTX 1070, the gap is minimal and within a margin of error.

Once the resolution is set to 1440p, the graphics card offers similar performance to its nearest competitor and there’s hardly anything to choose between them.

Throughout 4K testing, the GPU maintained a solid frame-rate and is tantalisingly close to surpassing the Palit GameRock Premium GTX 1070 for the first time.
