Ashes of the Singularity
Even though AMD’s GCN architecture is well suited for DirectX 12 gaming, it’s not enough to be competitive against NVIDIA’s flagship. As you can see, the graphics card easily copes with this demanding title and there’s not much to choose between two custom variants.
Increasing the resolution doesn’t have a major impact on the frame-rate and the ASUS STRIX GAMING GTX 1080 manages to maintain an average frame-rate above 60.
Interestingly, the graphics card pulls ahead for the first time when benchmarking the game on a 4K monitor.
