Doom

Doom’s support for the Vulkan API makes it a fascinating title to benchmark and assess how different solutions perform compared to OpenGL. Clearly, the GPU has more than enough horsepower to contend with the Ultra preset when opting for a 1080p monitor. The frame rate is perfectly fluid and the minimum stays well above 60. During 1440p testing, the product fares really well and closes the gap to the XFX RX 480 GTR Black Edition. In theory, it’s possible to drive the game on a 4K display, but this requires some cut-backs in the options menu.
