ASUS STRIX GTX 1070 Ti and 1070 Ti TURBO Photos Leaked

More leaks are coming out as the actual launch day approaches for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. The latest include a pair of ASUS video cards including a RoG Strix model and a Turbo model. VideoCardz.com has gotten hold of the first promotional photos showing these cards.
ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Turbo
The ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Turbo uses a blower style cooler and exhaust heat out of the rear. The shroud is different from the NVIDIA reference “founder’s edition” models, and resembles the GeForce GTX 1070 Turbo closely. The blower style fan uses dual ball bearings, providing 4x longer life span in comparison to sleeve bearing fans. Although it does not have RGB LED, the ASUS logo lights up near the front side area. The rear IO and the connectors appear to be different from the GTX 1070 Turbo however considering the exhaust vents are much larger. Plus, there appears to be only one single HDMI 2.0 port and three DisplayPorts this time, rather than 2x HDMI and 2x DisplayPort.
ASUS RoG STRIX GTX 1070 Ti Gaming
The RoG Strix model uses a triple fan cooler instead, blowing the hot air inside the case rather than strictly at the rear vent. The DirectCU III cooling design uses patented Wing-blade fans. These provide 105% more static air pressure than conventional designs, and are quieter than previous models. Unlike the Turbo, the RoG Strix model can turn off the fans when the load is low enough. Underneath, a five-heatpipecooling system keeps the GPU cool as well as the VRM. These heatpipes make direct contact with the GPU, providing 30% better cooling than other heatsinks.
All GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards regardless of make or model are expected to have a locked 1607 MHz base and 1683 MHz boost clock, with 8GHz effective memory clock.
