The 6950X at stock values is a fairly power-hungry processor due to the 140-watt TDP and works alongside a GTX 980Ti to consume just under 420-watts under load. This isn’t really a huge amount given the 10-cores and extraordinary performance. When overclocking, anything beyond 1.3v exponentially increases the power draw and this is reflected in the data below.
