CPU Performance
Cinebench
Since the release of the new Broadwell-E processors, we’ve slightly altered the testing process and decided to use the 6950X for all Broadwell-E motherboard reviews. As you can see, this chip alongside the motherboard is capable of achieving ridiculous multi-threaded benchmarking scores, especially when overclocked to a hefty 4.3GHz frequency. Of course, the single-threaded score isn’t great but this is what we’ve come to expect from the 6950X, 5960X and other extreme branded Intel processors.
WPrime
In WPrime, the motherboard is able to leverage the 6950X’s full potential and post a record low calculation time. This figure will be difficult to beat and I’m interested to see how rival products fare in the coming weeks.
SiSoft Sandra
On a similar note, the motherboard retains its excellent performance when tackling the SiSoft Sandra Arithmetic CPU benchmark. While running these tests for the first time, I couldn’t believe how well the 6950X fared with a premium Broadwell-E motherboard.
