ASUS STRIX X99 Gaming Broadwell-E Motherboard Review

SATA, M.2 and USB Performance

Linear Read

As per usual with ASUS motherboards, the storage read rates are exemplary although I’ve witnessed better M.2 figures on Z170 BIOSTAR offerings. Nevertheless, the results are worthy of praise and another major plus for the ASUS STRIX X99 Gaming.

Linear Write

As you can see, the linear write figures are just as impressive and the motherboard ensures numerous drives with varying speeds reach their full potential.
