Asus has teased the imminent launch of its first Ryzen-based Republic of Gamers (ROG) laptop, and the thin PC may be unveiled at Computex 2017. The reveal comes on the back of AMD’s unveiling of the mobile iteration of its Ryzen processors earlier this week.

The video description features the hashtag #Computex2017, which suggests we won’t have to wait long to find out more.
AMD’s appearance at this year’s Computex – which runs from 30th May to 3rd June – will extend well beyond Ryzen’s appearance in the new ROG laptop. The company has promised to unveil “the latest products,” of which there is sure to be many. Potential AMD reveals include Vega, Zen 2, Raven Ridge, Navi, Whitehaven, and Threadripper. Vega is sure to be the biggest star of the event, though, ahead of its Q2 release.
AMD’s Computex 2017 press conference, hosted by CEO Dr. Lisa Su, is scheduled for 10:00-11:00am on 31st May.
