For reasons that we can only speculate on the world’s biggest motherboard vendor ASUS has decided it will not be attending CeBit 2012 in Germany. ASUS has reportedly scrapped setting up a booth at the show in Hannover so we won’t be seeing any innovative motherboard, notebook, netbook and audio products from ASUS – at least not at the CeBit 2012 event they may hold separate events later on in the year to promote new launches. We are not quite sure as to why ASUS has pulled out, it may be too early in the year for ASUS to bring what it wants into the public domain but we expect ASUS will make up for their no-show at CeBit with an even better show at Computex 2012 in Taiwan. No other companies have reported to scrap their CeBIT plans. ASRock and Biostar also both have plans to set up small booths.
