ASUS to put 1920 by 1200 IPS display on Transformer pad infinity tablet

ASUS now has the largest resolution tablet screen on the market with a 1920 by 1200 resolution crammed onto a 10.1″ IPS display. Of course ASUS will only have this marketing ploy until Apple introduces its iPad 3 later on this year which is to have a 2048×1536 pixel Retina Display (not to be confused with a retina scanner as I have seen written on many forums by the typical “smart” Apple user). The new Transformer Pad Infinity (formerly known as Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF700T in its CES exhibition back in January), packs the 1920×1200 “Super IPS+ display” which has also has a capacitive touchscreen. The tablet is convertible to a netbook by attaching a base dock that gives it a keyboard and trackpad much like what Gigabyte has offered with its S series tablets. It is driven by NVIDIA’s latest Tegra 3 quad core processor clocked at 1.60 GHz (with the fifth ‘ninja’ or companion core), and will run a customized version of Google’s Android OS.
