Strictly speaking, Nvidia has not yet confirmed the existence of the 3050 Ti desktop graphics card yet. Let alone a mobile (laptop) version of it. Something very curious has, however, just been spotted on the ASUS website. Namely, a new upcoming laptop design (the ASUS TUF Dash F15) has been listed. Within its specifications, a reference to a 3050 Ti version of it has been seemingly (and possibly accidentally) confirmed.
Within the listing, there are various references to already known or confirmed Nvidia 3000 series mobile GPUs. What is interesting, however, is the mention of the 3050 Ti. As above, officially speaking, this hasn’t been confirmed in any sense yet.
Admittedly, we always knew that this graphics card was always going to be released. And in addition, it would undoubtedly represent a popular model for laptop manufacturers. With this confirmation, however, perhaps an announcement is coming much sooner than many would’ve expected.
Sadly, all we have at the moment is the listing with no specifications beyond the apparent 60W TGP. We expect this to be higher when manufacturers such as Dell and MSI, etc., get hold of it. Given that the 3050 Ti would undoubtedly represent the more budget-focused release from the ASUS TUF Dash F15 series, however, if you’re in the market for a new laptop and don’t have wads of cash to spend, this could well be worth keeping an eye on!
