In this regard, there are certainly some positives and negatives. Firstly, the positives. For a laptop, this is amazingly quiet. A factor pushed by ASUS in their design and one that has clearly followed through in our acoustics checks.
In terms of temperatures, well… again starting on a more positive note, the graphics card keeps (relatively speaking) nice and cool. The processor, however, does get more than a little toasty when at full tilt. We do wonder whether to give such impressive noise levels ASUS may have allowed temperatures to creep a little higher than most would usually like to see.
From a general user aspect, however, it’s certainly cool enough and, as above, remarkably quiet for a laptop!
