ASUS Z97I-PLUS (LGA 1150) Motherboard Review

Overclocking

Overclocking with this ASUS motherboard was a breeze. We managed to get our chip’s maximum of 4.8GHz by using a manual voltage of 1.27. This voltage held constant under all forms of load which signifies the strength of the ASUS digital power delivery system (DIGI+ VRM). We expect that users of this motherboard will have no trouble taking the new Devil’s Canyon CPUs to their maximum overclocks. This motherboard may only have 6 phases but remember not all phases are created equal! ASUS ones are often among the best.
