With hardware needs growing ASUS has recently released BIOS updates for its Intel 700 and 600 Series motherboards as well as AMD AM5 motherboards which allow for the support of up to 256GB of DDR5 Memory.
If you’re someone who requires lots of memory, then some good news has come from ASUS which will allow you to utilise up to 256GB on 4-dimm Intel 700, 600 and AMD AM5 motherboards alongside up to 128GB on 2-dimm boards. This support has been added through a BIOS update and will enhance the multitasking potential for RAM heavy programs which professionals should appreciate.
