ASUSTOR has today released its latest NAS product in the form of the XPANSTOR 4 offering slots for up to 4 drives allowing for a strong network-attached storage solution for small businesses.
The XPANSTOR 4 is a four-bay NAS which offers USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2 connectivity with connection speeds of up to 10 Gbps. Users can equip this NAS with up to 22TB drives allowing for a maximum of 88TB of storage plus it supports MyArchive cold backup technology as well as RAID volumes. These drive bays are hot-swappable and can be used like any other drive in ADM.
The XPANSTOR 4 also features various energy-saving features and will enter sleep mode with dimmed lights for hard drive longevity and power saving. Additionally, the drive includes a smart fan which adjusts speeds according to hard drive temperatures for a balance between performance and noise. The cable for the NAS is also specially designed for a secure connection to ensure no accidental disconnections.
