ASUSTOR has launched their new FLASHTOR all M.2 SSD NAS helping you store more in a flash.
These new Flashtor NAS from ASUSTOR is the companies fastest NAS devices ever with both devices the Flahstor 6 and Flashtor 12 Pro making use of PCIe 3.0 M.2 NVMe SSDs. The Flashstor 6 features up to 6 M.2 slots as well as dual 2.5GbE whilst the Flashstor 12 Pro features 12 M.2 slots with 10GbE. Both of these NAS devices are equipped with Intel’s newest 10nm Quad-Core Intel Celeron N5105 which boosts up to 2.6GHz and is paired with 4GB of energy-efficient DDR4.
Thanks to the utilisation of small M.2 SSDs, the Flashtor is able to be used as portable storage and is also designed to make adding and removing SSDs an easy task. Its slimmer design also allows for it to fit into most environments comfortably and despite being so slim it still offers plenty of efficient and quiet cooling with included heatsinks and a single fan. The strong cooling ensures that the drives are able to handle high workloads and remain at optimal performance.
The Flashtor series is equipped with S/PDIF and 4k60 capable HDMI for clear and lossless content consumption ensuring it is great for hosting Media. The Flashstor 6 can provide up to 590 MB/s of read performance and 590 MB/s of write performance in SMB Multichannel while the Flashstor 12 Pro gives up to 1181 of read performance and 1027 MB/s of write performance.
The Flashstor series is equipped with ADM 4.2 which brings in numerous security fixes to ensure that your data is more protected than ever. ADM 4.2 not only brings new security fixes but also brings various quality of life updates and feature updates too. Take advantage of ADM 4.2’s new two-way share links that allow uploading and downloading from Share Links, automatic MyArchive mounting and dismounting when backing up, certificate updates, DNS Challenge support, and a WireGuard VPN client.
