ASUSTOR Releases New AS54 Series Gaming Inspired NAS Devices

ASUSTOR has today announced the all-new AS54 series offering upgraded hardware with high-speed NVMe slots delivering a great combination of performance and price for a high-speed network-attached storage solution.

ASUSTOR’s new AS54 series includes the AS5402T and AS5404T both gaming inspired NAS’ powered by Intel’s latest 10 nm Celeron N5105 Quad-Core and 4GB of DDR4-2933 both bringing 31% and 20% more performance over previous gen Celeron and DDR4-2400 respectively. New to these drives is the inclusion of four M.2 Slots fo Gen 3 NVMe SSDs allowing for lightning-fast read and write speeds. These SSDs can be used for system storage, caching or even both. These devices also feature ADM 4.2 providing numerous improvements to features and stability, plus features an intuitive and user-friendly quick guide feature.

Ports

The AS54 series also comes equipped with dual 2.5 Gigabit network ports which support Link Aggregation and SMB Multichannel providing a combined speed of up to 5 Gbps. Furthermore, these devices are also equipped with three USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports offering up to 10 Gbps of performance. There is also an included HDMI port on the back plus the AS54 supports 10-bit 4K H.265 decoding streaming through the iGPU making the device excellent for home entertainment or editing work.
