Atomic Heart System Requirements Revealed

Atomic Heart, is a new game set to release later this year and hopes to rank highly amount the best PC games of 2023, pleasantly it seems that the system requirements are relatively forgiving. The shooter so far appears to be a nice mix of Fallout and Bioshock and somewhat older gaming PC builds should be able to run this without much issue.
According to the minimum requirements of Atomic Heart, you will need a GPU with 4GB of VRAM. So you won’t need a flagship graphics card to run this FPS game, pretty much any GPU from the last few years should be able to run the game without much trouble.
As for CPU and RAM an Intel Core i5 4460 or something around that should do it and with at least 8GB of RAM to run the game. But this is for the minimum specs if you wanted to boost the visuals and performance you would have to spend a bit more but it’s not necessary.
The Atomic Heart Minimum System Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 (20H1 version or newer, 64-bit versions)
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3. GHz or Intel Core i5-4460 @ 3.1 GHz (AVX, AVX2 and SSE 4.2 support required)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 380 (4 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (4 GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 90 GB available space
Storage
And of course, you will have to free up 90GB of storage to be able to meet the size of Atomic Heart. There was no information saying that you should upgrade to a Solid State Drive but it couldn’t hurt getting one if you’re still using a mechanical hard disc.
Can You Run It? Most Likely!
So playing on Atmoic Heart with recommended or minimum specs won’t be too expensive, GHz processor 2700Xlike an AMD Ryzen, and the developer Mundfish recommends using either an Nvidia GTX or an AMD RX Vega 64 GPU, and 16GB of RAM. So this may not be able to run with max settings on old hardware, but it should allow for a nice balance between gameplay and visuals.
And if you are one of those lucky owners of one of the RTX 4000 then you’ll be able to increase your FPS nearly tenfold as Atomic Hearts supports DLSS 3. So if you have one of these 4000 series cards, then you’ll be able to crank the graphics to the max without much compromise to your performance. This may help even cheaper cards like the RTX 4060s do some cool stuff when they are eventually released too.
