Audio-Technica Releases AT2020USB-XP USB Microphone

Audio-Technica has released its new AT2020USB-XP Cardioid condenser USB microphone, the latest in its comprehensive lineup of 20 series content creation products.

AT2020USB-XP Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The AT2020USB-XP USB microphone offers exceptional performance for streamers, podcasters and other content creators. The mic continues on the previous AT2020USB-X including the same silent touch-sensitive mute switch, built-in headphone jack with volume control and personal mix control for monitoring. The mix connects through USB-C and offers a 24-bit 192 kHz sampling rate, three levels of noise reduction, automatic gain control and an included clip-on pop filter. Furthermore, the 3/8″-16 to 5/8″-27 threaded adapter allows for users to use an alternative stand.

Cardioid Pickup

The microphone utilises a directional cardioid pickup which keeps the focus on your voice and minimises background sounds. A high-resolution A/D converter helps to ensure extremely clear and natural sound reproduction. For ease of use, there is a two-state LED indicator which lights up blue to indicate it is receiving power or indicates red to show that the mic is muted. For those that scream into your mics, the LED also blinks when peak audio levels are reached.

Price and Availability

The AT2020USB-XP is available from audio-technica.com for an RRP of $169 / €169 / £149.
