Audio-Technica has today revealed a new Limited Edition Ice Blue variant of their ATH-M50x headphones which was voted on by customers for their favourite colour. Alongside this launch is the wireless ATH-M50xBT2IB as well.
The ATH-M50xIB headphones are headphones which deliver an unmatched audio experience for recording, live sound, broadcast, DJ and personal listening which are now available in a limited edition Ice Blue colour theme. These headphones make use of 45mm aperture drivers and incorporate technology drawn from Audio-Technica’s long history in the professional audio market and provide natural, accurate sound with impactful bass and high-frequency extension. The construction is as high quality as the audio with a professional-grade earpad and headband material and a collapsible design with a detachable cable.
Also launching is the wireless version which delivers the same exhilarating listening experience as the wired version but with a wireless design. These headphones feature premium internal audio components and a dedicated internal headphone amp which has compatibility with multiple audio codecs (SBC, AAC and LDAC), sidetone circuitry allowing users to hear their voice when making calls, and access to voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. These headphones are easily connected through Bluetooth with a “Fast Pair” feature for Android OS smartphones plus use the A-T Connect app for various other controls. The battery life provides around 50 hours of continuous use and charges via USB-C, there is also an included carrying pouch for when you’re on the go.
Audio-Technica’s new limited-edition wired ATH-M50xIB (priced at $169.00 MAP) and wireless ATH-M50xBT2IB (priced at $219.00 MAP) are now available.
