AVerMedia is announcing the Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus, building upon its predecessor with a new pass-through technology supporting Ultra HD 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. The small device is capable of streaming and recording full HD gameplay from PC or console, without affecting 4K viewing. It is an essential tool for today’s modern gamer. Those who want to also stream and maintain video quality while being able to take their setup anywhere.
Despite being a powerful little device, the AVerMedia LGP2 Plus is easy to use. It even has a PC-free mode, letting gamers record gameplay, chats and do commentary audio to a microSD card. Which means gamers and streamers can literally record almost anything anywhere. The LGP2 is driver-free, using UVC/UAC so it is completely plug-and-play and ready to go. The LGP2 also supports the latest AVerMedia RECentral 4 software.
Each box contains the LGP2 Plus, an HDMI cable, a 4-pole 3.5mm audio cable, a USB cable and a quick guide. The unit itself only measures 14.7 x 5.7 x 4.7cm and weighs 185.5g. It can fit inside almost any bag for portability. It accepts HDMI 2.0 input and pass-through, and uses USB 2.0 for the UVC interface. Aside from 2160p60 resolution support, it also supports the following:
