Avexir Core Series DDR3 2400MHz 16GB Memory Kit Review

Test system:

  • Asus Maximus V Formula
  • Intel Core i7 3770k
  • AMD Radeon HD 7970
  • Antec Kuhler 920
  • Corsahir HX1050W
  • Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD
  • Lian Li T60
  • 3 x AOC E2795VH

Before we even think about testing at stock or overclocked speeds, we first need to make sure the memory is running at its rated speeds. With this, we head into the BIOS of our Asus board and set the XMP profile of 2400MHz at 10-12-12-31 with a voltage of 1.65V.

Avexir do also state this memory will run at 2400MHz using timings of 11-11-11-28 at 1.5V so it’s up to your personal preference if you want slightly different timings based on the voltage required.
