Synthetic Benchmarks

3DMark Firestrike

With a Ryzen 2600 processor and Nvidia 1060, you might be curious to see how well these components balance out. There is, of course, always something of a consideration that your CPU and GPU should, at least in relative terms, have a similar level of performance. Well, on the whole, they work really well together.

Scoring 11,402, the combination testing clearly show that as a whole, this system has a very solid level of performance.

Unigine Superposition 1080p Extreme

As Unigine is, primarily, a GPU tester, it’s no surprise to see the AWD Abyss sitting around the other systems we’ve seen with Nvidia 1060 graphics cards. As you can see in the results, this sits in that little Nvidia 1060 ‘party’ around the middle of the table rather comfortably.

PCMark 10

If there’s one thing that Ryzen processors do exceptionally well, it’s multitasking. As such, it’s hardly surprising to see this system perform within our top 5 scores when put to the intensive processing requirements made of it through PCMark. For a relatively inexpensive system, this has a lot of processing power behind it!

WPrime 32M and 1024M

Similar to the PCMark testing, the WPrime, which again is a processor intensive test, shows excellent results immediately taking the AWD Abyss into our top 5 and even one step better. While the Ryzen 2600 doesn’t quite have the oomph of some of the more powerful Intel brands, remember that this processor comes it at less than half the price. For such close results, it’s no surprise to see Ryzen proving so popular with consumers.

Cinebench R15

As per all the results we’ve seen so far, Cinebench shows the excellent processing power of the Ryzen 2600. I daresay many at this point will be surprised to see an AMD processor (not even their top model from the 2nd-generation releases) doing so well compared to many processors you would think would be far stronger performers.

Handbrake MP4 to MKV Conversion 4K

We must admit, we were surprised to see results this good from the Handbrake testing. As you can see, most of the systems we review tend to average something in the low-mid 30 frames per second for video rendering. The AWD Abyss, however, managed a hugely impressive 45fps. If you are both a gamer and, perhaps, a video enthusiast (maybe YouTube or Twitch) this system should definitely be of interest to you.
