In terms of disk read speed performance, this isn’t an entirely fair test. Well, we should clarify that point. It is a fair test, but the chances are that if you purchase this custom system, you might prefer to go down alternative roads in regards to the storage options. For this particular build, we were provided with an ADATA SU660 SSD which is clearly no slouch, but there are faster SDD options to consider.
As such, the results in this regard are entirely what we expected. Solid, quick, but not spectacular. We should note that this particular build did not come with a standard HDD and as such our results are based on SDD and USB performance only.
