The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is perhaps one of the most acclaimed games in the Elder Scrolls series, and as a result, it received plenty of attention from the PC modding community. There are currently countless mods available for Skyrim, some of which transform the game into a true visual masterpiece. However, even though most mods are targeted at making the title look sharper, more vibrant and more detailed, one particular project focused on transforming Skyrim into a cartoon. As crazy as it may sound, the idea actually turned out to be a great one, and while the mod still needs a bit of work, its creator decided to release a few screenshots before the official launch.
The mod was created by UniqueUses, and it dramatically changes the atmosphere of the game. Its lighting effects are particularly impressive, not to mention the terrain, vegetation, and character textures. I can only imagine how much hard work went into the development of this highly original mod, and I’m definitely looking forward to trying it out myself after it launches. Until, then I’m just going to stare at these awesome screenshots for a while, and I invite you to do the same.
