It’s largely similar to most gaming chairs, but there are some unique twists here that I did like. First up, the feet and wheels, clip them together, 20 seconds and that’s done.
The base unit on most chairs uses four bolts and 4-8 washers and is largely a pain in the arse. On this chair, it just slides in and clicks into place… it took a few seconds to do!
The instructions actually show you to use the box it came in with to do this, but I just used my couch. The backrest bolts into the base using four bolts. I later had to redo this as I routed those cables the wrong way… shhhh!
I like these bolts, they have a built-in washer that makes for easy fitting.
It’s like a damn spaceship under here, there are so many dials and paddles!
Now that’s done, it just needs to be placed on top of the gas lift.
The headrest then drops on the top, and two more bolts hold that in place. You can then clip in the LED light kit here, which we’ll see on the next page.
